Anja Rittling is the Risk Manager at Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc., a marketing cooperative, started by three farmers in 1930 that has grown to a $2 Billion company with nearly 2,000 employees.
Since June 2017, Ms. Rittling has been optimizing the insurance program for the company and driving internal efficiencies.
Prior to working at Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc., Ms. Rittling was the Risk Manager at EMC, gaining valuable experience on large claims handling and administering complex insurance programs. Before leaving EMC she worked on the insurance transfer of the largest technology merger ever between EMC and Dell. Ms. Rittling started her career as an accountant at Textron before she moved into the insurance world via a Green Belt project.
Ms. Rittling was a director on the MA RIMS board from 2013 thru 2017 and has been serving as the President since June 2017. She has a B.S. in International Business and an M.S. in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island. She was born and raised in Hamburg, Germany.
