This month’s joint meeting with Boston CPCU features an overview of the 1851 Limitation of Liability Act and its relevance to today’s marine risk and insurance environment. Panelists Zach Cushman of Lockton, Josh Gold of Anderson Kill, and Tom Muzyka of Clinton and Muzyka will discuss how the statute shapes exposure, influences claims strategy, and affects risk evaluation across the industry.

Subject: Managing Diversified Risks within a Tribal Nation

Location: Grand Pequot Tower at Foxwoods Resort Casino, 350 Trolly Line Boulevard, Mashantucket, CT, 06338

Event Details

This session will highlight how the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation assesses risk across its business portfolio, followed by a look at the operational challenges of managing Foxwoods’ 9 million square feet of facilities. Lockton will provide insights into brokerage services for hospitality and Tribal Nation clients. The program will conclude with a panel discussion featuring senior leadership from both the Tribal Nation and Foxwoods.


The event will be held in person at Foxwoods Resort Casino in the Aspen Meeting Room on the 10th floor of the Grand Pequot Tower. There is no charge to attend, but registration is required to ensure an accurate headcount.
